Alan Grayson, a Democrat serving in the House of Representatives, stated on Tuesday, “Republicans want you to die quickly” regarding the current health care debate. Acting like a total moron, he even held a sign stating this absurdity. You have to give him credit, he was able to successfully prove Democrats can be just as moronic as Republicans in matters of civility. Similar to the “You Lie!” comment by Joe Wilson during President Obama’s national speech regarding health care, Alan Grayson showed we have a serious problem in civility in this country.

President Obama’s speech regarding health care reform was presented to the nation on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. This speech was presented live, and was available on most major networks. The speech, clocking in at less then one hour, focused on Obama’s description of health care reform. Below is my interpertaton of the speech, and includes my personal opinions. I suggest you watch the video yourself and form your own opinion. I am an Independent Conservative, and am rational and can form my own opinion. I have decided to review the speech with an open mind, and see what Obama plans in his health care plan.
President Obama’s Health Care Speech: Pay Attention

This evening President Obama will make a prime time speech concerning the current state of governmental run health care reform. One can assume Obama’s job will be to convince Americans that health care reform is an urgent requirement that cannot be ignored. While this will most likely include tactics to sell the plan, there are numerous questions that need to be answered. With his speech running around the 35 minute mark, I think we all need to be mindful of the following questions Obama needs to answer tonight.

Many people on the right and the left are foaming at the mouth over the current health care bill. Many people get their facts from television news shows, blogs, and talk radio. The simple truth is these sources have agendas, as most pick a side to support. How then, can you be sure you are hearing correct information? I am afraid these is only one solution for you: to read the bill yourself.
