Now that the speech has been delivered, it is time to finally review the finished product. As you may be aware, many Republicans were afraid Obama’s speech was intended to brainwash the nation’s kids to Obama’s socialist agenda. The White House decided to make a preview of the speech available on Monday so parents can decide if they want their children to hear the speech. The preview, in my opinion, was a speech aimed at personal responsibility for our children to do well in school. I did not detect a socialist agenda within the preview. Now that the actual speech has been delivered, we can now review the final product.
Below is video of the speech. I suggest you watch it and form an opinion yourself before you continue reading. Your opinion is important, and needs to be wholly yours.
The speech was basically the same as the preview, with few words changed. Overall I felt it was a very good speech devoid of the social brainwashing many Republicans were fearing. It was a good speech our school children needed to hear. What do you think? Is it still a socialist tool because it is coming from President Obama, or is it just a message of succeeding in school. You decide.
