Just recently I found a site that allows you to read all the current bills presented to our Congress. The site, opencongress.org, lists all current bills for you to view. You can also make comments on sections of the bill. This is a great way to read what is going on within the US Congress.
The bills listed here can be complete, or in a draft like state. This is good, as the public can read these bills and then give their own opinions. Not only are bills listed here, but links to e-mail the Congressman from your state. This is a nice, convent method to keep in track with what is going on.
The only negatives I see are the comments made by the visitors of the site. Some are very biased opinions with little factual information. I think it is great you can see what others feel about specific sections of the bills, however some of these comments become frustrating to read. However, this is the Internet, as we do have freedom of speech, so I agree with the comments being allowed. If you decide to comment, be sure to post logical opinions, and try not to say anything you would regret.
Overall, I think Open Congress is a great tool. I encourage everyone to check it out!
