Love it or hate it, the U.S. House of Representatives Passed the Updated Health Care Bill Sunday evening. Championed by the Obama White House as the solution to our nation’s health care crisis; the bill will in the end give 1/6th of the overall US Economy in the hands of the federal government. The bill is done, with a signature from the President to come soon. It is over, the government now will control your healthcare.
To me, this is the beginning of a complete social state. The social state will control all aspects of your life until you are a slave to their will. With 1/6th of the economy in government hands; our freedoms have been drastically reduced. What most do not consider, is that this bill can be edited to include anything in the future. I am sure things will be edited, with huge price tags. I do not see how as a nation we can afford national health care while we are in a major recession. I do not think most who support the bill care. They want their free health care, no matter who pays the cost.
You can thank both Democrats and Republicans for this. Democrats want a social state, as it gives them more control. There is no question that the poor often vote democratic; as a means of gaining more services. Republicans are to blame for the 8 years of Bush, who lead to the party’s collapse. Both parties are at fault, however the Democrats are now at risk for voter backlash this November. If anything goes wrong with the bill, the blame will be theirs.
How do you feel now that the government has control of your health care? Do you like waiting in long lines to get service? Do you like waiting months or years to get operated on? Think logically. How can our system at present handle the influx of 30 million without shortages? We would have to add more doctors, hospitals, clinics. In the four or so years this plan does NOT give time for that! So what occurs? Shortages! Look at Canada, the UK, and Europe for examples. It is logical, as most who did not have coverage will quickly take advantage of the system once it is in place.
Remember, the party who pushed this bill at us in November. Also remember the weak party who’s actions resulted in this administration’s rise to power. In the end, we need to remove both of these parties and restore order, before the government controls who lives and who dies.
