Late Thursday evening President Obama signed into law an extension for the Cash for Clunkers program. The extension allows an additional $2 billion in funding to the already $1 billion that apparently already spent. The Senate voted 60-37 to approve the extension late Thursday Evening. It is unknown how long the money will last.
With the controversy over the terms and conditions of the program, this could be a very bad thing. According to Glenn Beck of Fox News, the terms and conditions located at the cash for clunkers website states that if you agree to the terms and conditions, your computer becomes federal property, and can be searched and taken away at anytime. If this is true, it is a very dark day for America, as I am sure 99.99% of users who signed up for the program had no idea of this condition. If you are feeling bold, or crazy, go and see what the terms and conditions state, and then let us know. It looks like now, if true, many more Americans will be signing their computers over to the government.
