Alan Grayson, a Democrat serving in the House of Representatives, stated on Tuesday, “Republicans want you to die quickly” regarding the current health care debate. Acting like a total moron, he even held a sign stating this absurdity. You have to give him credit, he was able to successfully prove Democrats can be just as moronic as Republicans in matters of civility. Similar to the “You Lie!” comment by Joe Wilson during President Obama’s national speech regarding health care, Alan Grayson showed we have a serious problem in civility in this country.
House Republicans, in a similar move Democrats used with Joe Wilson, drafted a resolution critizing Alan Grayson’s comments. However, in a move of common sense, Representative Tom Prince decided not to introduce the resolution, suggesting Alan Grayson should instead apologize to the Republican leader of the house. Drafting a resolution to me is a waste of time that could be better spent doing the people’s business.
Alan Grayson, under pressure to apologize, decided to stick with his statement and further stated, “I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.” One cannot believe a human being would be so stupid as to call our nation’s health care system a holocaust. He makes it out like our government is killing millions of people in our country and linking our government to Nazis. Here I thought Joe Wilson was the idiot of the year, however this guy takes the crown. Congratulations, Democrats, your chief idiot is speaking, and by doing so, making your entire health care message a farce. In the end, this is just more proof that both parties are the same.

The lead singer for Spike Jones and his City Slickers was named Carl Grayson. Any relation I wonder?
But seriously folks….
While I believe Congressman Grayson is one of the good guys and sympathize with his anger, it always makes me a tad uneasy to see these donkeys behaving like elephants. Just a thought.
